Accessibility
Night Sky Labs LLC wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test the site with keyboard navigation and check color contrast, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we've done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines against the dark background.
- Form fields have labels, and error messages say what to fix.
- Moving content can be paused with the "Pause motion" button. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off automatically.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers, and the site works when zoomed to 200%.
Known limits
The animated night scene at the top of the home page is decorative and has no text alternative because it carries no information. Some older browsers may not show every visual effect.
