Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Night Sky Labs LLC ("Night Sky Labs," "we," "us") collects, how we use it and who we share it with. It covers our website and our missed-call text-back service, which sends text messages on behalf of the businesses that use it.
Information we collect
- From website visitors: what you enter in our contact form, such as your name, business name, phone number, email address, trade and message, and whether you agreed to receive texts. Form submissions are delivered to us through a form-processing provider.
- From our business customers: legal business name, EIN, business address, website, owner name, phone number and email, which we need to set up service and to register the business with mobile carriers.
- From people who call a business that uses our service: the caller's phone number, the time of the call, any voicemail they leave, and the content of any text messages exchanged with that business.
- Payment information is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Basic technical data: our website is hosted on Cloudflare and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers may log technical details such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, session replay or any tool that records your clicks, typing or screen while you use our website.
How we use it
- To send the text messages a caller or customer has asked for or expects, and to deliver replies and lead summaries to the business they called.
- To respond to demo requests and provide customer support.
- To register businesses with carriers, bill customers and keep the service working and secure.
- To honor opt-out requests and meet legal and carrier requirements.
Text messaging and mobile information
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that help us deliver messages.
We do not sell or rent phone numbers or message content to anyone.
You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details. We honor opt-out requests made in any reasonable way, including replies like "don't text me."
Who we share information with
- The business you called. When you text with a business that uses our service, that business sees your number and messages.
- Service providers that run parts of our service for us, such as our messaging provider (Twilio), hosting providers (Cloudflare and Railway), our form-processing provider and our payment processor (Stripe). They may use the information only to provide those services.
- Carriers and The Campaign Registry, which receive business registration details our customers provide so texts can be delivered.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged, under the same protections described here.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
How long we keep it
We keep message records and lead information for as long as a business uses our service and for up to 12 months afterward, unless the law requires otherwise. Opt-out records are kept as long as needed so we don't text someone who asked us to stop.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure.
Where your information is stored
We and our service providers store and process information in the United States.
Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, call or text us at (862) 256-2103 and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing service@nightskylabsllc.com or calling or texting us at (862) 256-2103. Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that number. If you live in a state that gives you additional privacy rights, such as New Jersey or California, we will honor your requests as those laws require. We will not treat you differently for making a request. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the effective date above when we do, and we won't use information we already have in a materially different way without telling you.
